Hannah Ariotti | October 2022

Hannah is a commercial and narrative director with a background in production, creative writing, marketing and education. A passionate storyteller, she is particularly drawn to work that emotionally engages, surprises and challenges. Hannah's narrative film work includes entries into the Cannes Film Festival and Flickerfest in Sydney, with a side-step into podcast creation that saw her first series topping sci fi and national charts shortly after release.

Hannah frequently works to broaden her professional skills and continues her passion in community work, having been a speaker and advocate for underrepresented professionals, and a champion for young talent as mentor and facilitator. She is also a lecturer at University of the Sunshine Coast, Griffith University, The Groves and St Josephs School.

Hannah has directed for a variety of brands including Tourism and Events Queensland, Youngcare, Sunshine Coast Council and Hope Centre International. She also did a stint directing full-time for Spicers Retreats, guiding national brand work into fresh territory.

Hannah has a unique and emotive approach to film-making. Having worked in the industry for over a decade, her background and skill-set is diverse, including roles as a copywriter, production designer, cinematographer, editor, producer, and even two years as creative director. 

Her delicate approach to storytelling brings onscreen talent to life; and this signature style, in combination with her diverse creative background forges an electric chemistry that cannot be ignored.
